Honda bf50 is taking on water into the crankcase... Oil is milky white/yellow.. Spark plug from cylinder 2 is drenched in milky oil.. Took off cylinder head and replaced gasket as well as intake manifold gasket and water jacket gasket.
The Problem persists.
I saw an almost identical forum post from a user and he found a pinhole in the water jacket area on his cylinder block.. I did not think to check in that area as I was so focused on checking the cylinder head for cracks or holes and there were none..
My questions is this:
If I take my cylinder head off again and find a similar problem as the previous forum user, would it be make more sense to buy a new block or bring the part to a machine shop and have them repair the corrosion/crack/pinhole whatever it may be that would lead to water coming into the crankcase
The cylinder block assembly is right around $1000 with shipping.
