1977 chrysler 135hp lower unit gear ratio , 1986 force 85hp lower unit gear ratio

Hi , i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the lower unit from a 1977 chrysler 135 outboard is the same gear ratio then a 1986 force 85 hp lower unit ? any help would be appreciated .

Don't know how I missed this. The two lower units have the same ratio: 1.76. HOWEVER, the gears are not swappable. Totally different pinion and totally different forward gear bearing. Completely different rear gear assembly.
