I am trying to fine some information on a '68 Chrysler model 6018 6.6 hp water pump housing. The drive shaft to the lower unit was seized and I had to destroy the water pump housing to get the lower off. The housing that came off [ part # 144060] had 3 bolts, that held it to the lower unit. Does anyone know if a 4 bolt housing and wear plate could be used instead? perhaps a part # [the 4 bolt ones are easier to find] Thanks

Yes I think the 4 bolt housing will fit.
Have not done it on a 6,6Hp but old 35-55Hp Chrysler did have a 3 bolt housing and the 4 bolt fits at these engines.
If the bolt pattern for 3 bolts are the same. Yes it will fit.

I think a housing for the 4.4, 4.5, 5, 6, and 6.6Hp will fit. I am not 100% sure but 99%.
Maybe the driveshaftseal have a different innerdiameter. But it is easy to change.
These small Chryslers have the same gearratio and the only different is that some 4.5Hp did not have full F N R, so the gearhousing and waterpump housing should be the same.
