95 force 40 hp trim problems

I have 95 force 40 hp i installed newtrim pump the pump motor runs when you try to trim it up it soundsas if it is in a bind when you trim down it sounds fine but it does move when you trim either way up or down but the motor it new just installed yesterday had the same problem with the old pump isthe reason y i installed a new pump thanks for any help

Post a few pics of the system.
If the tilt points are corroded or need grease it can make it work harder and make noise.
The pump, where it connects to the armature shaft. Is it ground down or a bad fit?
