I have been having difficulties repairing my hydraulic tilt, which I have discovered is a tempermental relay box. My question is that there is no override to allow myself to lower the motor if the hydraulics are not working. I have checked youtube and their comments about manual override accessible at the motor's side does not exist. I am concerned about being stuck out on the water.

Thank you

If it is a relay, You can jumper from the battery to the relay post and bypass it all together. I do the same thing when my relays freeze on the plow truck.

There should be a white plastic hex plug in the side, accessible through a hole in the right transom clamp. Unscrew it and you should release pressure. Unscrew all the way and you will lose fluid. You can also jump to the heavy green or blue wire on the relay, depending upon which way you want to go. Use a heavy jumper as these wires can carry as much as 30 amps.
