Hi guys, just want to see your opinion on a price of a trim/tilt ,sender, gauge and wiring complete, the bloke wants $125 for it. I love all the bells and whistles but is $125 too much. I already have a gauge, but hard to find a sender.

The sender is simply an adjustable waterproof rheostat with a bent wire lever that bears against the steering yoke. Being an electrician, you could probably make one.

However, the question really is: how badly do you want it? $125 does seem a bit high, but then again, price it new. Also, how many have you seen? They do seem to be a bit rare.

Personally, If I found one for a really cheap price, I would buy it. Otherwise, I am perfectly content to look back and see the trim angle. Trim up until I get ventilation then trim down just a bit.----works for me!
