1972 Chrysler 20hp 203HD Head Gasket Part Number Needed

Just picked up a Chrysler 20hp 203HD S/N 2390 and have water leaking from head gasket.
Ran it using water muffs.
Cannot find a OEM part number for the head gasket.

I actually have 3 of these motors 2(203HD), 1(202HG) and would like to replace the head gaskets on all 3.

I have searched for some time and cannot even find the OEM part number, much less, the gaskets...

Any help would be appreciated

The partnumber is 78529-1 (factory parts catalog).
Try FranzMarine for it.
It is the same number for all of your 20Hp.

Having that part number enabled me to purchase a Cylinder Head and 3 Gaskets...:joyous:

For some reason these late 60' and early to mid 70's Chryslers are a pain to get part numbers for...:blue:

From 78 on it's easy. These earlier models are very similar in many ways, also different in some ways. I have already wasted money getting in parts that won't fit...

May I ask where you got that part number...:help:

I have the factory part catalog and got it from there.
For information, all 20Hp from 1965 up to 1974 the powerhead and gearcase are equal.
The 1978 20Hp is equal to the ealier 25Hp 1973-1977 (I think)
