I have a 1994 regal rush jet boat I just got I like to know the water flow pattern. I took it out for the first time today. The engine runs fine about the time it gets on plane sounds like the engine bogs down and looses power but then about 15 minutes of running it died and would not crank. brought it home waited awhile then cranked it up and I shut it right down I did not have water connected, I do not know where to connect the water. Forgot to mention the head seemed like it was a little to warm im wonder if there was a temp shut down that shut the engine down because it got to hot. Please help me to hook water hose up to it then the flow patter where the water should come out at the temp of what it should be. As far as I got took a few pieces off under the boat to check the prop or impellerwhat ever its called. Is there a water pump per say how does the cooling system work.
