Force 85 Powerhead

I am selling an 85 HP powerhead on eBay, and had a prospective buyer email me and ask if this will bolt up to his 70 HP Force. Anybody ever do this, or know if it would work? I think I read a thread about it on here before, but I forgot whether or not it worked, and I can't find that thread right now.

Although the mounting pattern is the same it is NOT a direct swap. The shift and throttle linkage are different and the drive shaft is a different diameter. So unless the buyer wants to do some work it will not fit.
