74 chrysler 45 hp

I have 45hp chrysler outboard runs good idels good rev to full rpm in neutral but will not when in gear prop is ok bottom end is good could it be carb or reeds can anyone help went to prop forum yesterday now i am in the right place i hope thanks

Need more info about the issue. Does it stal/pop when put in gear or does it revup, but no movement.
Is this OB new to you? If.... check comp. and spark on both cyl.
Comp. should be about 120-145PSI and not more different then 10-15PSI between each cyl.
Start from there and if all is in spec. then you may to adjust the timing/carb and throttle pickup.

No bin around ob all my life does a quick chug when put in gear no pop does not stall just wont hit full spped in gear
