1987 85hp Force bogging with slow acceleration

Had some problems with fuel delivery on my 85hp Force so I redid the whole system. New tank, lines, fuel filter, fuel pump diaphragm and cleaned the recirculation system. I pulled the throttle cable off to get better access to some of the bolts. Now my motor will bog down and stall when I slowly accelerate. If I open her all the way up she takes off fine and I can back her down to any position with no problems. Only when accelerating it seems as if she is starving for fuel. But it's odd because she will start right up after stalling. I'm thinking maybe that the throttle line is adjusted wrong but I have no problems with idle and I can open all the way up with no issues. I appreciate any advice on this. Thank you.

I had problems with bogging on an 1993 90-hp....ended up replacing all fuel lines, pump rebuild, filters, and sent fuel cleaner through but in the end it took a carb rebuild to cure my problems. Its really not too bad!
