Hello! Long story kept as short as possible- Boat sometimes runs, sometimes not. 
Tried to troubleshoot it myself, but i am a novice and wanted to be sure before buying parts, so had a mechanic look at her, he told me i needed a new cd module and a rectifier so i bought them, and he installed them. Still didn't start. Now he won't return my calls. Took it to another mechanic, who said he moved one of the wires on the key switch and when we went to pick her up, it started. Took her to the lake, she started then stopped to swim, and she wouldn't start. He must have gotten lucky. Flywheel turns. We have done many tests found in our manual and online forums and it seems like it is in the distributor. It is breakeless-ie no points. However, we did do a test for the preamp trigger, and it checked out. Anyone have any thoughts on where to go from here, or perhaps know where i can pick up a distributor for a 1977 135hp?
