I have a 1996 Force 120. I start the engine it runs great about 2 minutes and then it dies. But when I noticed that the engine is dying if I pump the bulb manually it go on without problems. I have changed fuel pump gaskets but in the kit there are no rubber check valve, only plastic gasket. See attached pics. Somebody knows if this gasket kit is ok? That's the right one.No rubber check valves in any Force pumps.
Be VERY careful not to bend the disks. You bend, you'll buy another kit??
What" gaskets" did you change? The diaphram is the only rubber that needs to be replaced.
Pics of the old parts.

Hello Jerry, I haven't real pics available now, but in the attached picture threre are a Rubber Check valve that i had before. In the new set I only have the plastic disks. The rubber check valve is obsolete and with the plastic disc goes well?

Anyone that has changed the Fuel pump Gaskets know if rubber valves have been replaced by plastic valves?
Thanks in advance.

The new plastic is the replacement.
Be very careful not to bend. They go together easy.
