Steering arm compatibility force force outboards

I was wondering if steering for 1993 50 hp force would work on 1990 force ? Replacing the 1993 with the 1990 and hoping to just switch motor and not all controls.

Steering systems are all pretty much the same.

The lower cowl is pretty much the same for most Force 50's
