No idea what's oozin.
The hole's a weep point or drain.
Usually it drains unburned gas /oil from the hole.
The screw?? DON"T remove it or you'll be doing a lot more work.
Drain the oil from the bottom screw/plug and see if it has water or oil?

Red, Please do not touch the screw at the very bottom (above the 10 in the date) not ?marked vent or fill?). I would even cover that Monster with silicone to hide it to prevent a Nightmare.

Maybe not bad, if you got it back in before pulling or pushing the shift rod. Causing the screw’s fork and screw’s alignments to be off (adding more work as Jerry mentioned.

Are you using a Manuel or past experience related to your challenges? If not, Good Luck! I’ll move on but monitor your progress vs sharing my limited info/time.

I have seen similar green foam from very little gear oil and a little water being mixed together at high speed (think whipped egg whites). I could be wrong, but like the others said, drop your drain plug to seen the condition of what's inside.

If you removed the pivot screw and you put it back without shifting you are probably okay. Have someone slowly move the shifter while you are turning the prop with your finger. When you hit neutral the prop should spin in both directions with no clicking when you go forward or reverse the prop will lock up and not turn. The froth you are seeing is unburned two stroke oil. Make sure the pivot screw is good then fix the green foam later. The foam can normally be fixed by de carbing the engine

No the screw is probably ok,if you didn't shift it your ok.
The shift pivots there and if it's taken out and the linkage is move you'll need to take the lower apart and install it right.
But it sounds like your ok.
If you found only oil in there. You should be ok.
Clean it up and see if it happens again?
