Hey everyone,

I was wondering if someone could help me. After coming back from the lake today, I noticed that the washer that sits around the trim shaft is missing. I went to look for the part online and it's been discontinued. Does anyone have any suggestions?

That "washer" holds in a "wiper" that cleans the ram as it retracts and keeps the internal O ring ram seal from leaking. It MAY also be zinc to help protect from corrosion.

If you can find an aluminum washer that can be modified to the correct size and staked in place, you can replace it. Otherwise run it until it leaks (it may never) then replace the cap as RRitt said.

Yeah, I figured I would have to change the cap but that's the discontinued part. I'll have to try to custom design something. Thanks guys.
