Hi Guys, I have an old Chrysler Sailor 10 outboard with very little use. It has been stored for years and I think it's about 1974 vintage. It starts and runs well when tested with the leg in a tub of water but I'm not sure if the cooling water is pumping. Should it come out of the two small holes below the engine housing, or does it come out with the exhaust? I don't want to run it for too long until I can be sure it's pumping.
How do I access the water pump/impeller? Advice would be appreciated.

It will show you the bolt's nuts to remove.
Top post is a linc to replacing the impeller. Not sure it covers the 10.

Thanks for the reply, I'm in Australia. no model numbers visible apart from Sailor 10.
The link you posted doesn't seem to work.
Do you know if the impeller is down at the bottom next to the gearbox?
