I'm changing my water pump and wanted to replace everything but what i found was only the repair kit i need the whole thing including the cover where the impeller goes,I found this but don't think it comes with the cover

That is just the impeller and gaskets. Your engine uses a Mercury water pump. You can order all the parts from your local Mercury dealer but be prepared to give up your retirement, or if you are young, your first born male! LOL. You are probably looking at 60-80 bucks for just the top cover and again, probably as much for the bottom plate. If you are lucky, they will have a complete pump for a slight break in price. Check local auctions for a good used one or see if the local marinas have one used off a junker Force.

No, the kit above has the wrong part number.



The Mercury part number for your motor is 43024A7, this is the complete water pump.
The part number may also be listed as 46-43024A7

Cost is about $110.

You can also buy all the components separately from a Mercury dealer.


You will find kits for sale on the internet, but if you look closely at the photos, they are usually missing several pieces.

Spend the extra $30 and get the factory Mercury OEM part.
