Where in the world would one find a thermo switch A335449-1 or something that can be a substitute for the overheat alarm? I want one. Information on trigger temperature specifications for substitute switches are not easy to come by.

Just curious. I use two Faria gauges with contact cylinder head temp sensors bolted to the head and they work absolutely terrific, but I want an alarm too.

Thanks in advance.

Newer Force engines have a plug-in type bi-metal switch. It fits into a hole cast into the head. If it is still available, you could either epoxy it to your head or fabricate a strap with a couple of screws to hold it in contact with a flat part of the head.
