Out today and was basically cruising around trolling for a couple hours - Didn't ever open her up until we started back in. At WOT the engine slowed and felt as if it was bogging down. Cut the throttle back to half and ran fine the rest of the way in. Tried this a couple times with the same results.

Looking for some suggestions - FUel filter - Carburetor Issues - Other....................????

Thanks

Re: Engine bogging down at WOT Force 150

Engine bogging down can be attributed to many things. So I would start with checking compression of each cylinder that will tell what condition the engine is in to start with. Usually lack of fuel or too much fuel are the problem. Check things like your fuel hoses and tank vent - make sure all fuel hose connections are tight and not leaking fuel or sucking air. you can also pump the primer bulb at wide open to see if it makes a difference - your fuel pump could be the problem and you can overcome that by pumping the primer bulb. You can also run the motor at wide open and look into the carburetor throats to see if one is spitting fuel or not spraying as much as the others. You might have a bad needle & seat in one of the carbs or more - maybe time to rebuild. Do you notice any misfiring? you can check spark with a timing light - look for irrattic spark. Well this should help point youin the right direction, I hope it helps.
