9.9hp Force outboard identification: Serial # 0E144736

Hey guys, new to the forums...sorry to lead off with a question, but I was unable to find the year of this outboard online.

It's a 9.9hp Force outboard with Serial # 0E144736

I searched the forums and found a link to this site but my motor wasn't on the list:

Welcome to iboats Nippert.

The info above is incorrect.
None of the Force serial numbers started with OD or OG, they all started with OE.
The info you posted, applies to Mercury badged products, not Force models.

My parts catalog shows Force serial #0E144736 is a 1996 model. ( OE127700 thru Oe 202999 )
