Hello,

I'm looking to identify the serial number on a 1997 Tracker/Force 90 HP Outboard Motor. I've looked everywhere and in the absence of the normal stamped ID plate all I can find are the following numbers:
HQ199412TT, HQ90412TT, 826196A30, 82197A30 #5, 47997. Do any of these look like a serial number?
Never had a Force before and need to provide the serial number to my insurance company so they will insrue it.
Thanks so much.

Re: Force serial number

Serial or model number HO90412TT is a 1997 Force 90 Horsepower engine. Very likely the "O" was misstamped or damaged to look like a "Q"

Re: Force serial number

None of them look like a s/n which for 1997 should be in a range of OE203000 - OE287999.

The HQ90412TT indicates the model number but the Q should be an 0, therefore a model number H090412TT.

Is it possible you can find a disc like this on the powerhead?

Don't worry about it. I just did a quick check for model number on a parts site. For insurance if he absolutely can't find anything else, it would probably do.

Just give the insurance co the model number, that way if it gets stolen the police can find several with that number and you can take your pick of which one you want back. :D

call Tracker customer service at 1-417-873-4555 and give them the year, Model, and hull# of the boat, they can give you model and serial # of the motor that was installed on the boat won't take them 5 min.
