The throttle control cable from the main control handle is broken just outside the motor housing. It has an OMC control and a guess for the length of the cable is 8' - 10'. I have looked everywhere and am unable to find a serial number for the engine or the control. I believe the engine is a 1989 but not totally sure. It looks like in addition to the cable it needs to have a lever mechanism on the control end. I have no idea how to proceed to order the correct cable. Can someone please help.
