Hello All,

I am about to replace the powerhead on my 1988 125 Force. I purchased the gasket that goes between the powerhead and the adapter plate, but I can't find a listing for any gasket below the plate. Does anyone know if a gasket should be used between the adapter plate and motor leg? or should I use permatex? I would prefer to use a gasket.

Thanks.

No gasket, just permatex, not too much around the water tube inlet as to clog it.

There is no gasket below the plate. Just some Permatex silicone RTV sealant.
