I have a 1989 Force 15 hp with no spark. I have checked everything I can think of and it seems to check out. Any ideas what could be causing this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Is the safety lanyard attached or motor kills switch shorted out?

The BIM coils can go bad, causing no spark.

Thanks for the quick reply. Lanyard is attached and the kill switch tested good. Can you test the coils for continuity to see if they are bad?

Did you do a spark test on each cylinder? Im asking because it is really easy to flood these little
motors and when the plugs get soaked with fuel mix it will not start until you pull the plugs and clean & dry them.

Thanks for both the replies. The flywheel key is still there but I don't have the serial number since I am at work. I spark tested both spark plugs and both were dead. I will try the link and see if it helps.
