Re: 15 hp force

Torque specs for what? If it is the head and it has 1/4-20 bolts, torque is 70 inch pounds. If it has 5/16-18 bolts I SUSPECT that the torque would be the same as larger engines--225 inch pounds.

As with any fastener, if in doubt, look up and use standard torque values as listed in supply catalogs.

Re: 15 hp force

i would like to replace the gaskets in the block and the one under it. but can't find the torque specs for any of it. went down to the boat shop and they couldn't find it either. having problems with getting it to run right. replaced the head gasket and it started alittle easier. but still wont run right. i can't get it into low idle to switch gears. it cuts out when i start to go to low idle. when running it runs very good on high idle though. any solutions u might have.

Have you looked at the fuel system and/or rebuilt the carb?
