88 force 125 spark plug wires??

does any one know are the force 125 horse in 1988 spark plug wires changeable. I see them in the parts section but have heard you have to change the coil and wire as one. mine are arcing through the boots and before I change the boots out I wanted to see if I can change the whole thing seeing how they're 22 years old???

Try just changing the boots.That's a cheap fix.I don't think the wire is changeable.J

The older wires are not replaceable. If you can, replace the tips, you can find good ones on ebay. Check for corrosion when you cut the wire. Sometimes the corrosion goes right up to the coil, in that case, you should replace the coil. The newer coils have replaceable leads.
