Whats up,
I recently purchased a boat it is a 85 starcraft. So I was told. The side of the boat says four star. If you know anything about that let me know. I have been working in the 35 hp chrysler and the only problem I have is with the steering. It seems to be pretty old being as I cant even find a pic. It looks like the piece connecting the steering to the motor is missing. I will try to get a pic on here soon. But behind the steering wheel there is a metal pipe with a spring in the middle on the back. the cable comes out of the right side of the pipe. It is about as big as a nickel. It runs to the back of the boat then into the actual steering device. once again I will try to post some pics ASAP but if anyone knows anything i would appreciate all help.
