Force 90 serial and model number wore off..!!

Looked through forums but may have over looked... Trying to help friend with Force 90 motor but no luck finding the right numbers on motor to figure model out..... Can anyone help me out? Thanks!!!

If you can get pictures of the ignition system, coils etc, that will help narrow it down. Also the trim pump.

Looks like it's a 1990. Maybe a 1991.

is there any other place on motor to find numbers in order to get right model to get right parts? In 90 there is like 20 somethin different 90hp motors..lol makes thing confusing but interesting...lol Thanks for response!

Not really but if you try one of these sites out you can select the serial numbers and look at the ignition system and get pretty close.

Looks like a 91.There were almost no real diferences in most of the 90-91 models.The say 91b or some such stuff.But they changes were so minor that you can't tell the difference.J

To be honest with you that looks identical to my 85 hp. I mean IDENTICAL!!!

It is a 1990 -1991'C" model.

Starting with the 1991D model, the ignition system did not use cd modules, and started using a switchbox.
