I've just stumbled across something pretty amazing, and I've got a bit of a dilemma. I've found a cache of every single Chrysler original Shop Manual online.

These are not posted by me, I've no idea who put them up.
Issue is, what do I do with this information....?

Probably should check with a mod to see if it would be ok for me to posts the links on here... It's a bit tricky to gain access to them, but I can do a step by step. I just need to make sure I dont upset anyone. :)

I think the best way to handle it is to have interested parties PM you, EHP. That way there would be no need to post links that might be forbidden.

I think evinrudehelp is going to get swamped with requests.
Would it be possible to allow a cut and paste of web address without a link?

Ok kids, if you want a manual, PM me with the OB#.

Ok guys, you can PM me all you want, but without the OB# you will not get a response. Use the internet to find your OB# for the manual you need.

Does anyone know the OB# for '89 force 125? Been trying to find it for the past couple of days but don't know where to look.

I'm getting tons of requests.. But only one person has gotten any links, because that one person found their OB numbers. I do not have time to find the numbers for you, and I'm sorry if you are having difficulties finding them

But do not send me a model number and request, these manuals are 40mb plus each. I dont have the time to download archive each one. Please, do not request if you cannot find your OB numbers, becuase I will not reply.

Can you define what you mean by OB# if not model number?

This would be all I know of my motor.
Model: 1158HOD
Serial: 1479
Year: 1980
H.P. 115

Thanks,
Rick

Here Rick.
What he means by OB #
Each Chrysler Manual has a "product code" for the book
I did a quick look up on your book.

Your Number would be: OB3439

Yeah great and really great for the guys that have a motor with a tag they can read! My question is what the heck are the rest of us supposed to do for parts etc. keep peeing in the wind??? Im new to the force world and am learning real quick that they didnt have a freaking clue aparantly what they were doing or they did the numbers and all the model changes because they didnt care due to selling to like 2 or 3 different companys! Nothing against yall for the manuals but Im a little upset about this crap!! What are we supposed to do??? I mean are we supposed to buy parts and try them to see if they work? And if not sell them on ebay and try again?

A link has been posted on this thread to a site that has all of the needed manuals. If a person was to disable the javascript on their web browser, then that person would be able to download those manuals.

I'm just sayin. :)

I had the same issue with my 20 horse.
I was older and the only marking was a Sea King 20.
No plate, model or serial anywhere.

Your best resource is here, Take pictures from every angle of the engine and outboard.
Post them in this site. I couldn't narrow it down exactly, But I found my 20hp to be a 20 horse Chrysler. About a 70's. That was good enough to get parts and rent a manual from the Public library.
