I've got a 1967 105 hp that has champion L76V plugs
I also have a 1972 105 hp that has autolite 2852 plugs.
both are surface gap plugs.

Anyone happen to know if these are correct or not. In Clymers manual thats supposed to cover anything, it doesn't really reference the 105 for what im looking for. A search on the web didn't reveal much other than lots of conflicting data.
Thanks for the help,
Scott

The correct plug and factory original was Champion L20V, new number 322 if you can find them. I don't have my manual handy, but the Autolite SOUNDS like the correct replacement number. I don't remember because I just don't use Autolite.

L76 is a Mercury plug. Since mercury started using the L76 in the later Force engines (which are really Chrysler blocks), I don't suppose it will do any harm in the Chrysler.

NGK replacement plug is (I think) BUHW

At any rate, just be certain to use a surface gap plug. Bent electrode plugs can at times result in holes melted in the piston crown.

Thanks for the info, when it comes to 105s in the book, it gets kind of vague. I'll go with the ngk buhw, surface gaps. That was a big help!
