The motor is on a 27' Party Barge Pontoon. It was properly winterized last fall and just commissioned for the year today. It was quite hard to get started, which is not that unusual after sitting all winter. But when we took her out she seemed to have a power problem, since we could not get the boat up to speed. When we got back to the dock and stopped for a minute, she seemed to idle Ok, but stalled every time we put her in forward gear. Ended up having to pull the boat around with a line.
The gas tank is only 1/4 full. The gas was stabilized properly last fall. I plan to fill it up with fresh gas, pull all the plugs and check them, check the fuel lines, etc.
What else should I be looking at?
