96 40 Force Solenoid removal

Is there a way to lower the cover to get at the starter solenoid or do you have to work within it?

It is more trouble than it is worth to remove the lower cowl. Stuff rags in the openings in case you drop something.

Don't forget to disconnect the battery before starting to work on the solinoid.
