whats the spark plug gap for 89'' 85 hp force motor?

im back i wannn do some maintenance on my boat i though i should start with plugs? whats the gap? how offten should they be changed? and any other ideas i can do to tune it up?thanks alot guy p.s. ive took it out twice and it runs great should i even mess with it or enjoy it?........

There is no gap! Those engines use non-settable surface gap plugs. If you have bent electrode plugs in it remove them immediately. They WILL melt holes in the pistons.

Correct plug is a Champion L20V, new part number 322, or NGK BUH.

DO NOT be tempted to use any specialty spark plug like Splitfire or multi electrode platinum plugs. The will not improve performance and most likely will damage the engine.
