flywheel key for 6hp seaking by chrysler?

hi, i was taking my flywheel off today and the half moon flywheel key broke. does anyone know the part # ? i did a search and found the mercury part # for the 55hp is 28F92498 but i dont know if the 6hp would use the same key. Thanks, Dennis

The "half moon" key is known as a Woodruff key. Sometimes the marine engines do not use standard keys. The 55 uses a different key. It has an extension that drives and locates the cam. Go to franzmarine@aol.com. He will have your key.
