ALL water cooled Chrysler, West bend, and Force engines use a 50-1 mix.
The three ring piston has nothing to do with it. The crankpin end of the connecting rod is roller bearings and the wrist pin end is needle bearings. These only need 50-1. If it were a plain bearing like on the air cooled engines, THEN you would need 24-1.
'Smatter of fact, If your engine has three ring pistons, then the wrist pin is pressed into the small end of the rods. Each piston itself has two caged needle bearings, that the wrist pin rides in, pressed into it.
