I have a 35hp Force outboard with a rusted out overheat alarm which came with the boat. Unfortunately the alarm is rusted out and does not work at all. The wires are in decent shape although I can easily replace them up to their connection. The sticky tab with color codes to all of the wiring is still intact. I would like to replace it with a gauge of any sort. Is this possible? Can I do both the gauge and alarm? If so, how?
