Hey there,
I have a 1975 chrysler outboard. Model number 252HB. I have it on the back of our duck boat. On cold morning hunts the recoil will get stuck or frozen or both, I'm tired of dealing with it. Wondering if any of you know the starter number I need, or where to buy one. I have checked ebay and had no luck. Heck if anyone knows where I can buy the entire electronic setup for the ignition that would be great. Any help or leads will be greatly appreiated.

Thanks for all of your time.

There is an electric start kit for that motor however like the manual starter all parts are no longer availible. Maybe try chrysler crew. Twin city outboard probably has the parts you need but they will only match what you give them. They do not cross reference or use part numbers. Google them and see if they can help. Good luck.
