force 50 hp electrical problem

i,v an problem on my 50 hp the motor has on it selfs 12 volt when only the main 12 v is connected on the starter relais normaly i think there must be 12 v from the ingnition it can be that the motor has running without 12v ignition what mayby damaged it first it runs on 1 cyl and then it totally stops no elektrical on the sparkplugs what can be damaged? jwolsing@zonnet.nl
