force 50hp crankshaft bearing

How do you get the upper bearing off without special tools
My crank is broken right below the bearing.. Otherwise the motor is like new. must have broken early in its life.
have a newer used powerhead (poor condition) but don't know compatibility.

You need a press and a special bearing puller. Easier to take it to the auto parts store and have them do it. Then buy a new one there. It is a standard bearing out of a Ford rear end--costs about 20 bucks
