Hi gang, new here but have a question.. Last summer I purchases this boat and motor. I have done a lot of work to the boat itself and a pretty good bit to the engine. Have the engine tunned up and running VERY well.. Now I have shifting issues. I can't seem to get enough forward and reverse action out of the shift cable to shift into forward AND reverse. I can adjust the cables and get it in to one or the other.. Is there some adjustment on the shift rod that will correct this problem? HELP? The shift cable only has about 4 inches of motion.. it seems that the problem is in the linkage on the shift rod...
