My 1990 Bayliner Capri with 120 HP Force outboard was running fine, full throttle at about 4500 RPM. Next time I took it out would only run at about 2500. In neutral I can throttle it up but it won't get up to speed in under load. Any ideas?

4500 is even a bit low. Kinda sounds like it was running on three, now it's running on two. Check your spark, compression, even your gearlube. You might want to check for water in the carburetor bowls. Loosen but don't remove the brass retaner on the bottom of each.

Same thing happened to me. Change plugs.
