Quick Question about Serial Number and Model of Force.

My Force is on a '96 Bayliner So I am assuming the Force 120hp is from around that year.<br />The Serial number plate is in good shape,<br />but, the serial numbers are very faint. I believe the numbers are OE 0979.<br />Is this posible or even enough information to finally get the year on this motor.<br />Please respond if you can because I need to order parts.<br />Thanks in advance.

You have 2 digits missing, but 0979## is around 1995.

If you have blue coils, it is a 1990-91.<br />If it has a switchbox with 13 terminals on the face, it is a 93-95.<br />If it has CDM ignition, it is 1996-99.<br /><br />Serial numbers:<br />90-94 OE000001-OE093699<br />1995 OE093700-OE138599<br />1996 OE138600-OE202999<br />1997 OE203000-OE287999<br />1998 OE288000-OE344999<br />1999 OE345000-OE369299
