85hp force carb adjust question

Hello all<br /> I have a 89 force 85hp engine. i recently adjusted the carbs due to a stalling issue. I keep reading that you can ruin your engine by leaning out to much. the engine runs great, still smokes a bit and has plenty of cooling(yes i know has nothing to do with carbs or fuel) Just another question i dont want to ruin the engine. thanks

Keep an eye on your spark plug tips. If they are dry turn your mixture adjustments counterclockwise a little. It is better to run this motor a little bit rich then too lean. You want to see a little oily residue on the tips.
