Just last week I was running down the river when I lost power at full trottle - slowing down to a dead stop. I checked the gas - good! wouldn't start...than after it started only running at low rpm's - 20mphs @ full trottle. Took carb's off yesterday found dirt, cleaned filters/carbs. Put new spark plugs. Rechecked carb/filters clean still running powerless? yet, when cruzing down the river @ full trottle I pulled the distributor unit toward me and it sped up? could it be timing?
