recoil repair parts for chrysler 6 hp

not sure the year of this model its a chrysler 6 hp outboard model # 62hh serial #17989 ?umm there is a part to rebuild my recoil my outboard mech.swears he cant find ive heard it referred to as the dog feeder or claw or paw or sumthin u know what part this is? or can you refer me to a place where i can get the entire recoil rebuild kit? thanks for you help

Hi Minne<br /> You motor is a 1977 model. There are several places to look up on the web. Fair winds marina is one. Maybe some of the other guys will post a few links for you.
