Could anyone offer advice on least expensive way to replace or repair a side mount (recessed) throttle / shift lever control unit? The sliding cam plate (made out of cheap "pot metal") broke near the pivot point, close to where the throttle cable rod attaches. A whole new unit (even aftermarket brand) is outrageously expensive in my view. And the cast metal can't be welded. This is for my '92 bayliner with a 70 hp Force, which otherwise is like new. I'm trying a recycled parts Marine salvage dealer locally, but maybe there's a website or national source??<br />Thanks!! Danmichal@aol.com  [/LIST]
