While out on the water today while at wot, my 85 horse shut down. It would not restart until a while later and a lot of coaxing. I assumed it overheated? There was a good stream of water from the rear of the engine though. I got it running and ran with throttle at cruising speed back to the dock fine, At idle it had a slight miss but but it in gear and it was popping and sputtering, almost clanking, give it some throttle and it was fine. I'm taking it to repair shop tommorrow, any Ideas so I don't get the shaft...(lol). Yhanks for any input. Reg gas, quicksilver oil,50 to 1 maybe a little richer always put a ounce or two more in. champion plugs. I haven't had any problems in pat 10 times out this year.
