rip...it would be good if you had a manual but I will try to help you, all from memory. <br />Loosen the bolt holding the distributor tension and swing the dist. into the block. Place the belt over the pully and in place so the flywheel will not bind it...once the flywheel is on and torqued properly turn flywheel until it is at tdc on timing mark for cyl #1. There should be a mark on the distributor pulley that will coincide with with the flywheel...engage the belt with the scribe mark on the pully lined with the flywheel and tighten the distributor bolt. About 1/8" movement in belt max. Set the timing and you are set to go. If you need timing info you will need to get the year of motor for me so I can look it up. Good luck
