I was trying to remove my starter, because it needs replacing. I have been able to remove 2 of the main bolts and the positive cable nut. My problem is the bottom 2 nuts. I have managed to remove one, but there is no way to reach the other one clearly.

Help! I can't afford to send this to my boat mechanic right now......

Welcome aboard.

What's with the poll? We don't know if you can afford a mechanic.

Remove items #21 (2) and item #16 (1) - The starter should just about fall out. Put nut #15 back on, it holds the starter together with the one you can't get off.
